Narelle is the principal psychologist and owner of Well Inspired Psychology. Her aim is that Well Inspired Psychology will offer Geelong, The Bellarine and Surf Coast one of the most comprehensive and reliable mental health services available.
In her own consulting space, Narelle puts emphasis on establishing a safe place where vulnerability can be explored. Her qualifications, years of experience and training enable her to offer our community a comprehensive women’s health psychology service.
She has extensive experience working with adult females in general areas of psychology. For almost ten years she has had a particular interest in perinatal work, having sound experience in supporting women with infertility, assisted reproductive journeys, unexpected pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth/hospital trauma, birthing the mother, perinatal anxiety, perinatal depression, suicidal/infanticidal ideation and relationship stress.
She has over fifteen years’ experience working with children, adolescents and their parents in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and behavioural issues.
Narelle’s approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative. She draws on a number of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
Narelle consults with clients three days per week and is also is also a public speaker in the area of mental health in the workplace.
