Kate is a Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with adults and older adults who present with a variety of mental health issues. She has a wide range of clinical interests that include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, adjustment problems, posttraumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, and acute stress disorder.

While working in the areas of public health, not for profit community organisations and private practice, Kate has developed an empathic and respectful approach to working with people and believes that psychoeducation and a strong therapeutic alliance creates a safe, supportive, and productive environment in which people may make change and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Kate is skilled in using a range of evidence-based treatment approaches which are tailored to an individual’s needs. These include Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Grief and Loss Therapy, Anger
Management, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Schema Therapy.

Kate is fully registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
